Happiness, Day 21

I'm happy that I went to the new, posh Kroger grocery store in Kenwood yesterday: their International section, though a poor imitation of Jungle Jim's and its six acres of everything imaginable, stocks chocolate-dipped HobNobs, S.'s favorite biscuit. I bought a roll.

I do need to make a trip to Jungle Jim's soon, though. My friend M. in New Zealand has been telling me about a brand of artisan ginger beer they make there, and if any place in North America stocks it, it will be somewhere in Jungle Jim's.

I'm happy it was a bright, sunny day today. Not too warm, but warm enough that I could go without a coat.

In a lot of ways it's reminiscent of a theme park. They've got animatronic figures and everything. But you can get lost for hours in the international foods section. And the cheese, deli, and baked goods sections together are larger than some whole supermarkets.

Wow. Sounds like an all day shopping trip.
