It's just me, isn't it?

I had dinner at my favorite Asian place.  It's kind of a bar-and-wok:  dark walls, a video poker game, six or so tables, a long bar, a sprinkling of tired-looking people in winter coats nursing drinks and eating rice bowls.  Despite this, the food is normally very good, very vividly-flavored, better both in presentation and essence than your average Chinese restaurant.

Today was an exception, though.  I ordered won ton soup.  You know the thin strips of pork you sometimes get in won ton soup?  It was there, but ... I swear I had one mouthful that was actually pastrami.
