Sorry, my bad. I've contaminated LJ with my germs. :P I've been trying to come down with something all week.

Hope it's a quick bug. Feel better.

The timing couldn't be worse. I had a busy weekend planned, with everything from Christmas baking (which I can't do if I'm infectious) to shopping to movie-going to driving a bunch of old computers out to a donation site.

Thanks for the (literal) well-wishing! I hope you get over yours quickly, too!

Being sick sucks. Honey, garlic, and chicken soup are my stand-bys for winter ills. Zinc and echinacea (sp?) are good too, as is something called Sambucol - it's an elderberry syrup that boosts your immune system.

Rest up and hope you feel better soon!

Sounds good; I wish I had some here. My sister recommended vitamin C and my mother recommended chicken soup, which I don't have, either.

I'm just sipping tea and going back to bed when I feel wobbly. The furry boy climbed under the covers with me around 11 am and has spent the afternoon curled up at the foot of my bed. Must be nice and warm under there -- it's a bit chilly out of bed. (It's very cold outside today.)

Rest up and hope you feel better soon!

Thanks!

*ladles up a bowl of soup for you*

Last year when I got sick, I had to wait for my roommate to return home from her vacation and then bribe her to go to the store for me. Could you get a delivery service to bring you supplies? One of the grocery stores around here has a truck service, and if you live near a Whole Foods, I'm certain they deliver.

Tea is lovely when you're ill. And it goes well with toast ;) But as we all know, snuggling with kitties is the best rememdy!
