Can't sleep

I am sitting up, have made tea, and am about to try writing in my journal for a while, to clear my head.  Maybe I'll go back to bed, who knows.

Have you tried melatonin, 20 minutes before bed? I've found it helps, plus I wake better rested in the morning and am able to get up more easily.

That's a good idea. I tried it when I was having horrible rebound insomnia from tapering off a medication, and it didn't seem to have an effect, but now that I'm pretty level, it might help.
