Waiting 'til 8:45 pm to heat the oven for pizza and until 9 pm for S. to show up.  We're going to be watching the new Who on my DVR.

Not a lot to report.  I finally finally finished my resume.  It isn't 100% impeccable but it's done done done done done!!  And I fit it all into 3 pages!

This leaves me with a few spare minutes, where I'm not sure quite what to do with myself, and housekeeping doesn't appeal.  I already did a lot of programming today, and tomorrow I have to tackle a part that needs a bit of redesign, so I'm not eager to do anything more this evening.

I read all of earlgreytea68' s "Saving Sherlock Holmes".  Adored it, of course.  I wouldn't mind reading some more fanfic right now but I'm so far out of the loop I don't even know where to look.  I heard tell of an excellent tennis AU but I don't know who wrote it.

And, finally, I have decided that for health reasons I really need to lose significant weight, and am embarking on that.  I am finally at the point where I am willing to "go to any lengths".

Oh oh oh! I just finished the first of the tennis AUs (she wrote more!) and it's still open in a window, so here you go!

As someone who loves Sherlock AND who loves tennis, I can confirm it was bloody brilliant!

I've read the first chapter (a long first chapter!) It *is* good.

And it keeps getting better! It's such an odd conceit, but it's totally in character and brilliantly done!

Sherlock and John have such well-defined characters that at times I got confused whether I was reading EGT's Sherlock and John, or someone else's.

At 3 pages, it is a long resume or an average CV?

Good question. Maybe it's more a CV. Since it's a tech resume it includes a skill list. I've also had five jobs and written a half-dozen magazine articles. So if I include any job responsibilities or accomplishments, it gets pretty long.
