Thought my alarm clock said 4:47 am so I got up, puttered, ate a little, drank something caffeineated, and finally looked at another clock.  It said 1:47 am, as did all the others.

Just having a wistful look around before I go back to bed.

You think it says 1:47 and it really says 4:47?

It's only what, 10;45 your time?

Was today a busy day? I suppose every day of December after the fifteenth is a busy day, for most people!

The last two months have been very long; this week in particular.

Tonight I went to bed, slept a bit, woke up with a dry mouth and sore throat, and got up to take a drink. Then I kind of just puttered. I should really go to bed again, but the new CPAP keeps making me wake up with a dry throat. I need to call the technician on Monday about it.

I'm taking a new blood pressure medication that has coughing as a side effect, and I think these two phenomena are related.

My DH's new CPAP (well new as in almost a year old now) has a water tank that humidifies the air. It's supposed to help with that.

Mine does, too, but it doesn't help enough. (I suppose I could turn up the "humidity" setting without waiting for official permission. Nothing stopping me. It's just that it's at 4.5 out of 6 already, so I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong.)

Yeah, my DH has tinkered with the settings on his own a time or two. It certainly doesn't seem to be working as it should.
