Homemade whole-wheat focaccia, toasted on the grill and brushed with olive oil and sprinkled with salt : bliss.

This is the same recipe I use, only I let it rise for an hour in an oven set to "warm" rather than overnight in the fridge. I found that the refrigerator rise added an unpleasant sour undertone to the flavor. Your mileage might vary.

Also, I use white whole wheat flour, which has more protein and fiber than white flour but lacks the bitterness of regular whole wheat. (Keep it in the freezer or fridge: it gets unpleasant-smelling quickly in the pantry.)
