Ways to Relax

I'm looking for suggestions on how to treat myself well. I've been going through rather a tiring patch lately, and need some self-nourishing tips or tricks. I usually relax after work by reading my f-list and visiting T&C, but that's not enough lately.

I plan to visit the library and borrow some books, and get an MP3 player so I can listen to audio books on the treadmill, but I'm looking for more ideas.

I've always wanted to take a yoga class, actually. I signed up for "fitness yoga" one time and found it impossibly difficult -- couldn't get my body to bend that way. But basic yoga would probably be much easier.

Go for a beginner's or basic class. Stay away from Hot Yoga. Talk to whoever's teaching or organizing the class about what you want to achieve. Mostly, I've done beginner Ashtanga clases and while it's a stern pace, it's good.

I sent an email to a local yoga school tonight asking when their next New Beginners series of classes is. Their schedule shows the January series as being at 7:30 pm on Tuesdays, which I can probably just about make (my voice lesson is at 6:30 on Tuesdays, about ten miles away).
