Things to do with a random naked lemon

Make chermoula, to be used this evening to bake fish.

I had a naked lemon because I'd de-zested it for another dish a week or so ago.  (The Microplane zester is the ideal zesting tool, by the way.  Forget those nail-holes on the sides of box graters.)  So the challenge is to find something that calls for lemon juice and only lemon juice.  Chermoula fit the bill nicely, and as it happened I had a bunch of cilantro and some frozen cod to use it up with.

Ha on the "random naked lemon," by the way. As for the zesting -- we have a Microplane grater, rather than the smaller zester, and it handles everything from hard cheese to ginger to citrus zest. It's the best kitchen purchase I've made in the last two years.

It was too good a phrase not to steal!

I am seriously impressed with Microplane products. And they're so reasonably priced!
